This is a huge mistake because the card must appear elegant and official too. Therefore, it is important to keep the following points in mind while designing the business card:

1) The business card should be small, short and clear.

2) Include your website URL and email address in your card to make it look modern and trendy.

3) Use cool and modern colors on your cards.

4) Do include your logo too on the card.

5) Use raised printing for your name or company name, etc. to make it more prominent.

6) Do not use flowery fronts like comic sans.

7) Do not use too many colors on the card.

8) Use good card stock for your cards. Too thin cards will crush and buckle up. The thicker the card is, the better it will be, though the expense will also rise.

9) Do not use very tiny type size that will be difficult to view.

10) Do not crowd your card with lots of words. Leave a lot of white space around it.
